ResortQuest Islander on the Beach All 198 guest rooms underwent a thorough renovation. Spacious guest rooms now feature travertine floors, onyx tile, granite countertops, and Island-inspired teak furnishings with pineapple motifs in mirror frames and headboards. New bronze hula-dancer table lamps and palm details on the porch lights add a Hawaiian glow.
The property features rooms with garden views and ocean views, as well as oceanfront rooms.
Guests can also enjoy the nearby convenience of boutiques, restaurants and theaters at the adjacent Coconut Marketplace. Guest rooms are fully equipped with a 10-cup coffee maker with Kona-blend coffee replenished daily. All rooms are non-smoking; smoking is permitted only on the lanai (patio). Free in-room safe, hair dryer, iron and board, microwave, CD stereo player, 4.6-cubic-foot refrigerator, and a 27-inch flat-screen TV have been added for guest convenience.
The new oceanside pool area has been given a stylish facelift with slate flooring and a new tropical pool bar appropriately named "The Sand Bar" where alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, smoothies, beer and snacks can be enjoyed beneath one of the new thatched-roof umbrellas or in an open-air cabana with day bed and silk pillows. "The Sand Bar" offer happy hour from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and has televisions for sporting events! New Weber gas barbecue grills have also been installed for guests who wish to grill and chill. For those who need to stay connected, wireless Internet access is available in the lobby.
